The last barrages have been played today in Asiago and Roana so finally the Worlds are really getting going. The teams directly qualified after the first phase of the pools had a rest day: great opportunity to recover after a tough start and to check rivals strategies benefiting from the video analysis. The other teams played to pass to the next phase.
In the Senior Women the following teams passed directly to the quarter finals: Czech Republic, USA and Italy in the Pool A; Spain, Canada and New Zealand in the Pool B. Today Finland won against Sweden and Australia so passed the turn and tomorrow will meet Czech Republic. Argentina won the last match in Asiago and tomorrow will play against Spain. Italy-Canada and New Zealand-USA complete the matches.

In the Junior Men tournament, the following teams passed directly to the next phase: France, Czech Republic and Sweden in the Pool A; Spain, USA and Italy in the Pool B. The other teams today play to get the chance to go to quarter finals. After the barrages, Canada beat both Namibia and Colombia and tomorrow will play against France. Switzerland won over Namibia in the last match of the day and tomorrow will meet Spain. The other two matches will involve Czech Republic against Italy and USA-Sweden.
