Today was the training day before the important race events that will take place in the next two day: Tomorrow the athletes will run the slalom and the part 1 of the combo race; the following day will be dedicated to giant slalom and part 2 of the combo race. Today the athletes had the training session and the opportunity to practice the biggest ramp ever seen in inline alpine thanks to a 4m height.

Beside the training, today the official Opening Ceremony for the World Championship in Saitama Oto (Japan) and the Opening Party took place and officials, delegates, athletes, trainers, spectators and members of the organizing committee enjoyed the warmest Japanese welcome.
