Joker Floors will be the official rink supplier of the 2021 Inline Hockey World Championships. The international event will be held in Roccaraso - Abruzzo, for the third time in history (1996, 2011 and 2021).

The Senior Men and Senior Women teams will stay in the Italian town from 8 to 19 September 2021. All the Championship matches will be played on the Joker Sport flooring, a modular solution specifically conceived for inline hockey. World Skate decided to use the Joker Sport flooring to ensure excellent performance: Joker Sport’s movable sports flooring with interlocking tiles was initially developed for inline hockey, but then proved to be perfect for any other sporting activity, becoming one of the very few 100% multisport floors on the market. The grip of skates’ wheels is excellent, and the sliding capacity of the disc is increased thanks to the slightly embossed pavement surface.

On the World Championships, the colours and layout of the Joker Sport flooring will be an absolute novelty, unprecedented at an international level. Following World Skate’s guidelines, Joker Floors will install a track with cutting-edge colour and graphic solutions, perfectly matching the philosophy of the international federation: Green & Urban. Joker Floors will supply the 1800sqm flooring that will be installed inside the Pala Bolino in Roccaraso.

Marco Peruzzi, Joker Floor CEO: “The Roccaraso location is important to us; the last time this event took place in the welcoming city of Abruzzo, ten years ago, Joker Floors shyly entered the international market as a sponsor of the event. After 10 years, we return together to inline hockey in Roccaraso, this time as protagonists, providing the Joker Floors flooring for the rink. Together with the World Skate offices we have thought of an innovative solution that I hope - and I am sure - will please the players and spectators of this beautiful sport.”
