WRG19 – Inline hockey, Italy and Slovakia win barrage games, quarter finals are now set in both tournaments.

It'll be a great hockey day in Barcelona. The eight quarter finals games will take place at Mar Bella rink. It's win or lose, semifinal or a minor placement: every team wants to keep the dream alive.

Italy stayed in the elite: they won clearly the final barrage game versus Sweden and will face France tomorrow, in a classic rivalry game. Sweden started better, scoring a deserved goal, but the Italians come back soon, thanks to their power play. They closed the first period with a three goals advantage, a gap that Sweden cannot fill. Final result was 6-1.

Slovakia is this year outsider: coming from Division 2 they achieved the quarter finals beating Colombia in a thrilling game ended 5-2. They scored in the right moments of the game, keeping the momentum against a proud rival.
