During the World Roller Games in Barcelona (Spain) the very first World Skate Open Marathon wil be run: any skater regularly affiliated to her/his National Federation, could skate the Marathon in addition to her/his National Team and compete for the podium and the prize money. This will be a great opportunity to live one of the most awaited sport event of the year as a key player and to skate in the wonderful downtown of Barcelona.

The first three women and men crossing the finish line will be awarded with a prize money which amounts to a total of 34.000 USD.

Athletes willing to attend the Marathon must contact their respective National Federation as registration will take place through the World Skate Platform and only National Federations can access it.
