In the men the competition was really tough. All the skaters were super fast and strong but Edwin Estrada is once again the king of the sprinters, follow by German Simon Albrecht and Jorge Luis Martinez from Mexico. A real top class podium.

Right after a little brake, the Junior category with the 10000mt points / elimination took the spotlight.

In the race of the Junior Ladies there have been many crashes. In the end the gold medal was for Colombia with Maria Jose Quiroz Alfonso, second place with a really good performance from Bente Kerkhoff , Netherlands, and third place for South Korea with Jiyun Men.

Those young men of the Junior category, made quite the show! The cards on the table were reshuffled several times, but the amazing resilience of Jason Suttles, Belgium, made him win a well-deserved gold medal! With only one points of difference Into Choi took the silver medal, Korea, and Enrique Raul Hutado Ramirez took bronze.

In the evening the great excitement to see the multi World Champions who where attending the 10000mt elimination, fades after only few laps of the Senior Women due to an unexpected rain that forces the organization to suspend the race along with the male one. They all need to wait until the 10th of July to repeat the 10000 elimination.
