We’re delighted to be landing in Japan just in time to catch the cherry blossom season. Hiroshima looks magical and the historic location of the event makes this stop feel extra special.

After a stunning performance in Jeddah, 2017 Champion Julien Cudot stuttered a bit in the semi finals today in Hiroshima, qualifying last in 12thplace. He will have to go really hard in the finals in order to catch up with top contender Joe Atkinson. The Yorkshire prodigy laced an incredible run, where he flew over every transfer, touching every obstacle on the course, thus earning himself a comfortable 1st place. Among his main opponents tomorrow, Joe will have to defend his spot on the podium against Japanese hero and vert legend Takeshi Yasutoko, as the latter is sure to hype up the local crowd with the perfect flow, big spins and high amplitude airs which put him in second place today.

As of tonight, tomorrow's winner is anybody's guess, but what is for sure is the WS Roller Freestyle World Cup finals are going to be one hell of a contest!
