The 2007 USA National Age Group Championships will take place again this year in Detroit, Michigan at the Taylor Sportsplex beginning 15 July until 24 July 2007 .  The timing of the AAU Junior Olympics and the USARS International Age Group competitions do not conflict with eligibility for any 2007 FIRS Inline Hockey World Championship event, Senior Men and Women or Junior Men, that is under sanction by CIRILH/FIRS.

Some of the National Federations of FIRS with developing programs for inline hockey have in the past participated these competitions in order to provide their younger players with the opportunity to play against high level club teams that are appropriate to their own age levels.  Keith Noll, AAU/USARS meet manager, who hosted last year's World Championships, has again this year invited those  youth teams back again, as well as any other countries that might be newly interested in sharing this experience.  These are open to either club teams or an all-star team selection within a country where players must qualify for divisions by age.  Strict nationality requirements of FIRS are not inforced.
