The long awaited inaugural meeting of Inline Hockey Australia was held on the 20-21st January

The National Executive Committee of ILHA held its inaugural meeting in the Skate Australia National Office over the weekend of 20-21st January, 2007. 

Simon Wilkins, President of Skate Australia, briefly attended the meeting to welcome the new committee members on behalf of the Skate Australia Board.

Steve Hall, ILHA Chair, said that the committee had achieved a great deal of progress however there was a lot of work to be accomplished to further develop inline hockey in Australia.  Paula Maclou, Deputy Chair as well as Carl Carrubba and Kevin O'Sullivan spent the weekend working with Skate Australia staff resolving issues and making headway towards a very exciting future for inline hockey both domestically and for Australia's future international teams.
