ON JUNE 7TH THE UNITED STATES WILL DEFINE ITS SKATING TEAM FOR THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

The American Skate Federation has announced that on June 7th it will be defined the Selection that will participate in the World Roller Speed Skating Junior and Senior Championship in both categories, that is going to take place in Cali, Colombia, from August 17th to 25th.


On that Thursday 7th the USA Roller Sports Selection Event, from witch will come out the junior and senior skaters, will be over. Between the ones that could make it to the team Joseph Mantia, Heather Richardson, Sebastian Cano, Emily Scott, Jonathan Garcia, Michael Cheek, Josh Wood, Chris Creveling, Chard Horne, Jessica Smith, and Brittany Bowe.


Last year USA finished on fourth place and one of their stars, the multiple World Champion Joseph Mantia, was elected Best Male Skater at the Anyang, South Korea Championship. At the China 2005 Championship the American team finished second, and at the 2004 Championship in Italy finished third. The North American Selection was first at the Venezuela2003 Championship.
