Day two: Chinese-Taipei double shot, Italy leads

Competition continues and so the distribution of medals here in Mouilleron-Le-Captif at the 2018 Artistic Skating World Championships. Italy is leading the medal standing. World level competitions will entertain fans and aficionados in the beautiful Vendéespace arena in Mouilleron-Le-Captif (France) until October 13. Day two started with senior figures competitions. Aaron Wunder from Germany gained the first step of the podium, followed by Luis De Mattia (Argentina) and Tim Jendricke (Germany). In Ladies Figures competition the Italian athlete Giada Cavataio got a wonderful gold medal. Argentina took the two remaining medals with Anabella Mendoz and Giselle Sooler. In the evening the Inline long program took the scene. The Italian and European Champion Chiara Censori just turned World Champion in Junior Ladies. Second and third position for Anna Semisynova and Veronika Kimont from Russia. USA athletes dominated the scene in both junior and senior categories. Colin Motley gained the gold medal in junior men, followed by Xan Rols (France) and Abhijith Amal Raj (India), while Natalie Motley got the first place in Senior Ladies category. Russian Anastasia Nosova and French Serena Giraud completed the podium. Double shot for Chinese Taipei in Senior Men category. Yi-Fan Chen and Hung-Yo-Chien won both gold and bronze medal. Only silver medal for Antonio Panfili from Italy.

Awarding ceremony closed the second day of competition.
