Day six: no medals but great battle

Day six ends up with no medal distribution here at the Artistic Skating World Championships. Indeed, today Seniors got on the rink with the Solo Style Dance: temporary first position for Ricardo Pinto (Portugal) and Silvia Stibilj from Italy.

SOLO DANCE SENIOR. Junior competitions ended yesterday and today Seniors made their way to the rink. In mens, the Italian Daniel Morandin, got on the second position with a great program, just one step behind Ricardo Pinto, actual leader. Third position for another portuguese athlete, Pedro Walgode. Italy shines in Ladies category thanks to the defending World Champion Silvia Stibilj who leads the provisional ranking. Second and third position for Viviana Osorio from Colombia and Ana Beatriz Morais De Toledo from Brazil. They will be back on the rink on October 10.

JUNIORS. Skaters from the eleventh position on, competed today only for the final ranking. Tomorrow, starting from 5.05 pm, the first 10 athletes of both Junior Ladies and Mens provisional rankings will be on the rink to form the final podium. The Awarding Ceremony is scheduled at the end of the competitions.

INFO. Tomorrow, on Vendéespace rink, at Beaupuy Park in Mouilleron-Le-Captif, competitions will start at 1.25 pm with Senior Ladies short program. The show will continue with the top 10 Junior Men and Ladies skaters. 2018 Artistic Skating World Championships are broadcasted live streaming on World Skate TV.
