With this first edition, involving 350 athletes, World SKate is launching a new international format with the aim to present the Show Groups and Precisions to a wider and different public than the one usually attending the World Championships. Today the press conference took place in the Town Hall Council Chambers of Pesaro and introduced the new format event to the national press.

Starting from tomorrow, the athletes will take the stage with the training session already in the morning. The competitions will start on Saturday 9 and will be live streamed on www.worldskate.tv. The entrance to the venue is free.

World Skate President, Sabatino Aracu said "The Adriatic Arena is a beautiful venue, managed in a very professional way and, in the next future, could surely be the perfect stage for international artistic events as the World Championships."
ASPES President, Luca Pieri said "We would like to make Pesaro a benchmark in the Artistic skating international landscape and we are sure that this "test" edition of the World Cup will be a great starting point."
