#WUGBudapest is officially started!

The brand new event powered by GAISF and dedicated to Urban Sports has officially started!
Today the park hosted almost 20 athletes, women and men. They began to perform their tricks at 2.15pm here in Budapest, Hungary.
The skaters performed in 4 heats of 4 riders (2 runs per rider) to impress the jury in only 50 seconds. They all did their best to get the ticket for the final which will be competed by the top 12 riders on September 14, 2019. Difficulty, height, flow, originality, mastery and variety of tricks have been among the parameters being taken into account by the Judges to evaluate the riders’ skills and nominate the finalists.
Following competitions, CJ Wellsmore (AUS) clinched the final with 83.33 points in the qualification round of men while Maria Munoz (ESP) proved to be the best with 76.33 points in the qualification round of women.
