Montreux, in the beautiful scenery of Lake Geneva, will host the 69th edition of the "Coupes Des Nations" or "Nations Cup", an Easter tournament born in 1921.

Eight teams have been invited to this tournament, the usual eight teams that have been participating for decades, including seven national teams and the host club. Throughout history, other clubs from all over Europe have participated. The Pandemic caused edition number 69 to slide for five years: in the last edition number 68 Portugal won their 19th titles, the fifth in the last six editions, against 17 for Spain and 8 for England.

From Wednesday to Sunday, five vibrant days will be held with the best rink hockey national teams, divided into two groups. In Group A (called Samaranch), Argentina, Italy, Angola and the Montreux team, while in Group B (called Livramento), Portugal, France, Spain and Switzerland. The first qualifying phase until Friday will decide who will compete for the three medals on the podium: the two first classified in the groups will go to the medal semi-finals on Saturday, while the others will fight for a place from 5th to 8th place. On Easter, the finals will decide the final positions of the ranking and after 21:30 the winner of the Nations Cup will be decided. There is great curiosity to see many national teams at work who will be protagonists at the World Skate Games 2024, scheduled in September. The announced rosters are top level although historically, many coaches take advantage of this opportunity to experiment.
