World Cup Skate Open Marathon Lima 2020 to be held on April 5th

On April 5th, the Marathon will take place at the wonderful “Parque Kennedy” in the neighborhood of Miraflores, in a 14km circuit, along the Avenida Arequipa.

Besides the traditional competing categories - World Class (Junior and Senior) and Masters - for the very first time World Skate will open the marathon to a wider group of participants by introducing new categories and distances: Kids and Cadets on 6 km, and Fitness on 14 km and 42, 195 Km. The Fitness category is opened, but not limited to participants using Inline Speed Skates. Participants registered under this category are allowed to compete using any equipment with wheels, this includes: quad skates, scooters (non-electric), and skateboards. Prize money will be awarded to the first 20 positions in the ranking – equally split between women and men – according to the break down in the official bulletins.

Last but not the least, international participants belonging to the World Class, Masters and Fitness categories will have the chance to win accommodation prizes (8 for women and 8 for men): The 16 prizes will awarded by raffle and provide each of the winners with 2-nights free accommodation, in a twin room (to be shared with another prize winner of the same gender). The free accommodation package shall only be used for the purpose of participating in the event.
