The countdown has started! Argentina is the host of the 3rd World Skate Games, which gather the World Championships of all the World Skate disciplines.
For Speed Skating, the curtain goes up October 29th on the Vesmaco Track of Vicente Lopez. This is the same track that in 2018 hosted the Youth Olympic Games. What an amazing feeling is to skate where Olympic dreams came true!
The Road competitions will be held at Puerto Madero starting November 2nd until the 4th.
The Marathon will take place on November 6th, still in Puerto Madero, and will be Open for Junior, Senior and Master category. A prize money is up for grabs.
More than fifty are the countries participating at the event and their National Teams are arriving these days to refine the details.
Colombia has been the main actor in the last World Championships in all distances. But a new generation of skaters may set to emerge in Buenos Aires.
Strategy, endurance and speed are essential in this exciting discipline, pushing the mental and physical strength of athletes to the limit. So let the show begin!
