In 2018, the Argentinian "Universidad de Flores" launched the first curriculum ever as "Tecnicatura Universitaria en Deportes de Patinaje". It's a 2-years course of study about inline speed skating and artistic roller skating, recognized and supported by both the Argentinian Government and the Confederación Argentina de Patinaje and many students came from South America's countries such as Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Chile to attend.

During this COVID-19 pandemic, the UFLO has been organizing many webinars open to the community and Nicola Genchi will take the floor on the next 25th of June to talk about rules and sport in the charla  "El reglamento y su filosofía al servicio del deporte".

Nicola Genchi, World Skate Artistic Chairman: "I met Laura Lopez, Coordinator of the course, in Buenos Aires last February when the idea to document the big change Artistic Roller Skating is going through started. Since then I get passionate also on some historical aspects of the discipline and I started to think how everything was linked together. I think this academic approach to the sport has a future.”

A few spot are still available to attend the Zoom meeting: you need to register HERE. Or you can follow the webinar on World Skate TV
