The friendly competition was born in 1998 to commemorate the figure of Giuseppe Filippini,  Italian figure skating judge who died prematurely and immediately turned to the attention of Italian and foreign Clubs and National Federations. This year the 22nd edition of the competition sees the same open to the categories of Single and Solo dance for men and women. The tender takes place in Misano Adriatico (Italy) from 15 to 23 June 2019.
