and 400 Korean atheletes participated in this event for 4 days with celebration and encouragement of Mr. Yoo, Joon-Sang, KRSF President, Mr. Choi, Jung-Geun, Mayor of Namwon city and distinguished guests.

2009 Namwon Korea Open providing prize money USD21,430 completely ended with awarding ceremony for 24 MVPs at elementary/middle/high school and University & Business Division, and 8 excellent athletes from overseas on the last day of the event, 3 May, 2009.

Especially 2009 Namwon Korea Open settled down as the event that promoting friendly relations and exchanging their skills of speed skating with Asian countries year by year.

We hope that more countries and teams can be with us in this event next year.
