World Skate is currently developing a variety of event concepts worldwide, always in an effort to further promote our disciplines, continue to raise the level of organization, and enable growing participation. We recognize and appreciate your efforts as federations in organizing diverse and appealing events that are attracting widespread participation and generating interest in our sports. Thank you for the work you are doing.

As there are already many marathons worldwide, we look forward to creating even more in the future and also making you essential partners. We intend to organize a large-scale, mass-participation marathon that will bring together elite skaters and amateurs in a highly exciting sporting experience. The opportunity to share the starting line with a World champion will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for amateur skaters. Taking place on an original and innovative route, the marathon will celebrate the heritage and history of the host city, and draw participants who are also interested in the tourism aspect of the event. As representatives of the amateur movement, your input and collaboration are invaluable to us. Our admiration for this movement that gives a unique image to roller skating, along with World Skate's desire to be closely connected to the urban/amateur movement, aims to be helpful and collaborative, and promote a community that enables interaction not only with World Skate but also among different amateur groups. We aim to give maximum prominence to the amateur movement, and we would be pleased to have you join us in this new adventure. We would appreciate your participation in a Zoom conference call on 27th May 2023 at 4:00 PM (CET) with our President Sabatino ARACU, in order to share ideas and see whether this exciting new format can be collaboratively developed.
