In the 16th Asian Games "Roller Sports Team  from India"  made its debut for Indian contingent by winning  2  Bronze Medals in Men's Free Skating and Pair Skating events. National Medalist Anup Yama  won Bronze in Men's Free Skating and Ms.Avani Panchal  combined with Anup Yama won Broze in Pair Skating. Roller Skating Federation of  India and its Andhra State Association have decided to  jointly award  Rs.50,000 per medal to Bronze Medal winners at the time of 48th National Roller Skating  Championships as well as felicitate the other Asian Games players and the officials too.
