The Pan American Championships is the “country qualifier” leading to the 2015 Pan American Games. This event (men and women) is a closed competition that qualifies the countries that will be able to participate in the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto, Canada. Participating federations will determine the athletes that will compete in this event. The top qualifying countries will later determine the athletes that will compete in the 2015 Pan Am Games.
Speed Skating
The 2015 Pan Am Games speed qualifying event as well as the Pan American Speed Club Championships will be held January 22-26, 2014 in Cooper City, Florida at Brian Piccolo Park.
The Pan American Speed Club Championships is an open entry competition to all skaters. Divisions are restricted by age only and open to all members of clubs that are a member of their national federations that form the CPRS.
Skaters from 9 different countries and from across the United States are expected.
The Speed Championships will be streamed live January 22 through the 26th on skatersplace.com.
Artistic
The Figure Championships will be streamed live January 17th through the 20th. 35 clubs from
around the United States and 8 Pan American Federations are expected.
There will be skaters of all ages and various divisions during this event. This event will be streamed live from
Skate Reflections roller rink in Kissimmee, Fl.
