The world of roller sports meets in Paraguay: 11 sports, 40 disciplines and over 90 countries at the World Skate Games ASU26
The World Skate Games were established by World Skate in 2017 with an ambitious vision: to bring the skating world together in one major global event.
The inaugural edition in Nanjing, China, marked the beginning of a new era. For the first time, multiple skating sports came together on one international stage, creating a unique multisport event which celebrates not only world-class competition, but also the culture, energy and diversity of the global skating community. After the editions in Barcelona 2019, Buenos Aires 2022 and Italia 2024, the WSG established itself as the leading international meeting point for roller sports disciplines, combining sport, urban culture and Olympic projection.
Sports on skating wheels speak the language of young people: since skateboarding's Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 and its success at Paris 2024, stars such as Rayssa Leal, Keegan Palmer and Yuto Horigome have carried these disciplines to a worldwide audience- above all, on social media. The World Skate Games ASU26 will bring together more than 6000 athletes from around 90 countries to compete across 11 sports and 40 disciplines, showcasing the extraordinary diversity of sports performed on skating wheels.
From Olympic skateboarding to speed and artistic skating, from rink and inline hockey to the energy of roller freestyle, scootering and downhill, ASU26 brings different generations, styles and sporting cultures together in one city.

Follow all the action throughout via World Skate TV, on social media via our Instagram and Facebook accounts, and stay informed via the official ASU26 website!
