More than 1,200 athletes pros, amateurs, and kids took to the streets of Shanghai for the opening stop of the World Skate Marathon Tour 2026. The wide boulevards made for a spectacular course, and the crowd was there from the early hours to cheer every skater across the line.

The tour now shifts to Spain for its first Challenger Stage event: the P2P Pamplona-Puente Skate Marathon on June 7th.

This isn't a loop. It's a point-to-point course, 42 kilometers from Pamplona to Puente la Reina, cutting through historic towns and rolling terrain. The route passes through Ororbia, Ibero, Etxauri, Paternain, Zizur, Belascoain, Orendain, and Artazu before reaching the finish line in Puente la Reina-Gares.

The race is open to all: Pro, Master, and Amateur categories welcome everyone from elite athletes chasing ranking points to families looking to roll together.

Challenger Tier, Real Stakes

As a Challenger Stage event, Pamplona offers athletes the chance to climb the WSMT general classification. Ranking points are distributed to the top finishers, with 100 points for first place scaling down through the field. For rising stars and established names alike, every placement counts toward the season-long standings.

Registration Details

Registration closes June 2nd at 23:59 CET through the official event website. Athletes competing for ranking points must have a complete World Skate Infinity profile, including a valid anti-doping certificate and passport. Those without can still race—they just won't earn ranking points.

Race day starts at 10:00 AM from Calle Bosquecillo in Pamplona, with bib collection available on Saturday, June 6th, and Sunday morning before the start.
