Following on from our Season Launch webinar of 9th May, World Skate hereby announce the formal release of the definitive WSK Skateboarding Competition Rules which will govern the operation of all World Skate sanctioned skateboard contests in 2025.

Much of the guidelines will remain familiar to athletes who have already taken part in a WSK skateboarding contest, but particularly within we would draw your attention to new rules pertaining to:

• Introduction of a Phased Minimum Age Limit. 
• Update to Competition Management and Scoring Service (CMSS) Responsibility.
• New Terminology and Structure for Street Competition Formats. 
• Expansion of Athlete and Delegation Behaviour Rules.
• Revision of the Scoring Refusal Rule for Tricks. 
• Addition of First Wall Rebate for Park Competition format. 
• Addition of Golden Run (Top 5 Final Run) for Park Competition format.
