In the 2nd day of the Women's World Championship of rink hockey ongoing in Iquique (Chile), the six games played gave a first arrangement to the ranking of the three qualifying groups.

























In group A, Argentina and Italy kept their perfect score and lead the standing with 6 points. The defending champion clearly won against Egypt (14-0) the first match of the day. The task of Italy against Brazil was much more difficult but, thanks to a good performance, the team coached by Pino Marzella won 5-1. Neither Argentina nor Italy are still sure of being in the quarterfinals because Colombia obtaines its firts victory against Egypt in the last game of the day (16-0) and can still compete for the first and second place that gave access for sure to the 2nd phase. The match between Italy and Colombia, scheduled on Monday at 12.30 AM CLT, is crucial for the final standing of this group.
In group B, Spain got its revenge over Portugal. Two years ago, due to a defeat against Portugal in the round of 16, Spain obtained a disappointing 9th place in Tourcoing. Tonight, Spain won 4-0 the most intense and awaited game of the day that has simply been amazing and at the highest technical level of women's rink hockey. Now Spain leads the rankings togheter with France that played and won against South Africa (8-0) in the morning. The head-to-head match of tomorrow (6.30 PM CLT) between Spain and France will define the name of one of the teama qualyfied to the second phase.
In group C, Chile didn't play today while Germany won its first game against India (9-0). Chile and Germany lead the ranking and, if they will both win tomorrow, they will be both in the quarterfinals.
