The Rink Hockey World Cup crosses the Atlantic Ocean and goes from Spain to Argentina. The Final played saturday night in the Vendespace (sold out) in La Roche Sur Yon gave a clear verdict: the new champions of Argentina won the last game of the World Championship against the now former champions of Spain 6-1.

A score that doesn't need more explanations: Argentina played better and stopped the row of victories of Spain that had won the World Championship from 2005 until 2013: five editions without defeats that will remain in the history of this sport.
It was the fourth time in a row that Spain and Argentina played the Final of the Rink Hockey World Championship and in the three previous, Spain always prevailed: Luanda 2013, San Juan 2011, Vigo 2009. That's why the victory of Argentina in Spain is something historic.
The heroes of Argentina for the final game have been Lucas Ordoñez, David Paez and Carlos Nicolia. Ordoñez scored three goals, Paez two, while Nicolia imposed to its team the right rhythm from the beginning to the end. Only the initial goal of Bargallo (the best from Spain) creates some problems to Dario Giuliani's team at the very beginning of the match. But the immediate draw by Ordoñez and the following goal from Paez gave to Argentina the first and definitive advantage. Before the end of the first half, Paez scored the 3-1 and in the second half Ordoñez and Nicolia completed the triumph of Argentina.
In the final for the medal bronze, Portugal prevailed over Germany 7-3.
