The 2025 edition of the Hero Battle Cup, held in the heart of Milan in front of Stazione Centrale, brought together the very best of the Inline Freestyle World Cup, showcasing top-tier talent, breathtaking competitions, and an atmosphere rich with passion and community spirit. Over 7 thrilling days between qualifications and practices, World Skate proudly witnessed not only the crowning of new champions but also a celebration of sport's unifying power.
Pair & Speed
After the qualifications day between the 3rd to the 6th of July, Milan saw the opening day of finals with a dazzling contrast between artistic harmony and sheer velocity.
In the Pair senior category, Italy dominated with gold and silver thanks to the stunning performances by Nexia Gualdi / Valerio Degli Agostini and Nikole Moretti / Lorenzo Demuru, while Aleksandra Lisiecka / Justyna Teczar (Poland) rounded out the podium.
In the adrenaline-fueled Speed Slalom, young talents delivered impressive times and flawless technique. Iran stood out in the Senior categories, taking home two golds thanks to Romina Salek for women and Amirmohammad Savari Jamalouei for men.
Jump & Classic Slalom
Day two turned Piazza Duca d’Aosta into a theatre of defiance against gravity and a stage of precision flair. In Jump, Senegal’s powerhouse Dame Fall soared to gold with a 169 cm leap, and Francesca Brivio led an all-Italian podium in the women’s field.
In Classic Slalom, athletes mesmerized with their musicality and technique. Notable victories included the junior Li Yuet Yi (Hong Kong) at just 11 years old in Junior Women, and a full-Spanish podium in Senior Women led by Laura Oria Albelda. Italy made another strong showing in Senior Men with a one-two finish by Lorenzo Demuru and Lorenzo Guslandi in second place, followed by spanish hero Paul Bosh.
Speed & Battle
The final day saw the crowning of champions in two of the most intense and crowd-pleasing disciplines.
In slide, athletes demonstrated stunning control and stopping power, with Sofiia Kytaihora (Ukraine) and Enrique Rubio Mesas (Spain) taking gold.
Battle, a head-to-head freestyle showdown, tested creativity and composure. Rising star Oleksandra Kruhliak added gold to Ukraine's tally in Junior Women, while Justyna Teczar (Poland) claimed victory in Senior Women. In Senior Men, Lorenzo Demuru from Italy sealed his stellar week with a second gold medal, confirming his status as a standout performer of the event.
A Celebration of Sport’s Spirit
More than just a competition, the HBC Inline Freestyle World Cup Milan 2025 was a celebration of community, excellence, and the global growth of urban sports. From the electrifying performances to the warm interactions between athletes, fans, and organizers, the atmosphere captured everything World Skate stands for: inclusivity, excellence, and the joy of sport.
