From June 30th to July 4th, 2026, Milan becomes the beating heart of the global inline freestyle community. The 18th edition of one of the discipline's most iconic events, Hero Battle Cup makes a landmark leap: it joins the official World Skate World Cup circuit, opening a prestigious tour that begins in the historic squares of Milan and concludes in Shanghai in November.
The Opening Stage of the HBC Inline FreestyleWorld Cup Tour
This is no longer just a three-star competition. The Inline Freestyle World Cup 2026 in Milan carries the same ranking weight as the World Championships in Paraguay — 325 points up for grabs, making it a mandatory stop for any athlete chasing the world number one spot.
A New Competitive Format: The PRO Category The 2026 edition introduces a breakthrough format. The PRO Category merges Senior and Junior U19 divisions into a single elite tier for all athletes aged 15 and over — veterans and rising stars competing side by side, pushing technical levels to new heights. Alongside them, the Junior Under 15 category gives the next generation a stage to shine in front of the world.
Piazza Duca D'Aosta: An Urban Arena The competition takes place against the monumental backdrop of Piazza Duca D'Aosta, in front of Milan Central Station — transformed into a cutting-edge sporting village where sport, culture, and innovation collide, providing an urban regeneration thanks to sport.
- 300+ participants from 25+ nations including China, Spain, France, Ukraine, India and Taiwan
- 10,000+ daily visitors with free access
- Global streaming via World Skate TV reaching millions across 80 countries
Rooted in the motto "Young, Urban, and Sustainable" — 100% removable structures, recycled materials, and wheel-based mobility as a green urban alternative — the event is a model for 21st-century sport.
