Jayden Sharman makes history with a third consecutive world title, Chanel Martin overcomes adversity to claim gold, and Andrea Gauduel takes Junior Park honours in Asunción.

ASUNCIÓN, PARAGUAY — After two weeks of world-class competition, the 2026 Scootering World Championships concluded at the World Skate Games in Asunción, Paraguay, with three World Champions crowned in Men's, Women's and Junior Park.

The final week delivered historic achievements, remarkable comebacks and outstanding performances as the world's best riders battled for the sport's most prestigious titles.

Jayden Sharman Makes History with Third Consecutive World Title

Great Britain's Jayden Sharman made scootering history, becoming the first rider to officially secure three consecutive World Championship titles.

Following a fall during his opening run, Sharman faced one final opportunity to defend his crown. As the last rider to drop into the Men's Park final, he delivered under immense pressure, landing a second run worth 92.00 points to secure gold and complete his historic three-peat.

Czech Republic's Matěj Pekárek claimed silver with 90.63 points, marking an impressive return to the international podium after suffering a broken wrist at the Rome World Cup earlier in the season. Great Britain's Harvey Perkins rounded out the podium with 89.17 points.

Chanel Martin Battles Through Adversity to Claim Women's Park Gold

For the United States' Chanel Martin, the journey to becoming World Champion was anything but straightforward.

Travel disruptions before arriving in Paraguay forced Martin to miss her opening practice session, while lost luggage left her without her scooter. Once on the course, she faced further challenges, enduring multiple heavy falls throughout practice.

Despite the setbacks, Martin delivered when it mattered most, overcoming a difficult start to claim the 2026 Women's Park World Championship.

Fellow American Beca Ortiz secured silver, completing a one-two finish for the United States, while Great Britain's Neve Entwistle earned bronze.

Andrea Gauduel Crowned Junior Park World Champion

France's Andrea Gauduel claimed the Junior Park World Championship title, delivering an impressive performance against some of the sport's most promising young athletes.

Spain's Jehiel Duran secured silver, while Finland's Max Geront completed the podium with bronze.

The Junior Park competition once again highlighted the remarkable progression of the next generation, with young riders continuing to push the boundaries of technical difficulty, creativity and style.

A Memorable Conclusion to Asunción 2026

From Sharman's history-making three-peat and Pekárek's return from injury to Martin's inspiring victory and Gauduel's Junior Park triumph, the final week delivered unforgettable moments.

Across both Street and Park, athletes from around the world showcased the continued growth of international scootering, bringing two weeks of exceptional competition at the 2026 World Skate Games to a close.
