With six lessons, starting from February 26, World Skate officially launches its International Rink hockey Referees Certification Project: a long-term plan to increase the skills and training qualities of referees worldwide that is expected to take at least 3 years to be fully functional.

This year, there will be only 1 course. The National Referees that complete the whole training and pass the exams will be recognized as International Referees and will be taken into account to referee World Skate competitions. All International Referees, including those who already achieved the “International”, “Advanced” or “Elite” categories must complete this course to confirm their own category. Starting from 2022, all referees will have to complete a refresher course every two years to confirm their category.

Attendees can choose between Morning or Afternoon courses and registrations can be done only through National Federations.
