On July 3rd, from Spain, World Skate held the official rink hockey draw for the World Skate Games Asunción 2026, defining the group stage for the competitions that will crown new world and intercontinental champions this October in the Paraguayan capital.

The draw set the field for four competitions — the Men’s U19 World Championship, the Senior Women’s World Championship, the Senior Men’s World Championship and the Senior Men’s Intercontinental - bringing together traditional powerhouses and emerging nations from five continents.

The road to the medals

With the groups confirmed, the stage is set for a fortnight of high-intensity rink hockey in Asunción. The competitions run across two windows:

• U19 & Senior Women: October 3–10, finals on October 10

• Senior Men: October 10–18, finals on October 17–18

Matches will be played at the Arenita SND, Pavilion 1, Pavilion 3 and the COP Arena, part of the multi-sport programme that brings every wheeled discipline together under the World Skate Games banner.

The World Skate Games Asunción 2026 will be the biggest edition of the Games to date.
