Brazil made a clean sweep as World Skate crowned two new World Champions of Park Skateboarding late Sunday night as part of the World Skate Games Italia 2024.

In the Women's division, Raicca Ventura fought back from a knee injury the day before to lead from the start and was already in party mode by the end of Run 2.

She nearly had a scare as powerful Japanese ripper Hinano Kusaki came within two points of her in a blistering final run, while third place was taken by Spain's Naia Laso, herself coming back off a broken collarbone earlier this year during Olympic qualification.

Men’s finals saw Pedro Barros aggressively take the lead from Denmark's Viktor Solmunde before himself being pushed into second by compatriot and Olympic bronze medallist Augusto Akio who wowed the crowd with his juggling skills before swooping to victory.

Overall, an unquestionably deserved Brazilian double-whammy at the World Park Skateboarding Championship 2024 taking place as part of the World Skate Games Italia here over the past three weeks.
