A new season. A new format. Bigger dreams.

The World Skate Marathon Tour is gearing up for an extraordinary 2026 season.
A season full of news, new athletes, new destinations and an even stronger global vision.

More than a race series, the World Skate Marathon Tour continues to be a unique platform where athletes from all over the world can aim high, compete at the highest level, earn the recognition they deserve and turn long-held dreams into reality.
The road to excellence is getting clearer, more structured and more exciting than ever.

A brand-new format for 2026

Starting in 2026, the World Skate Marathon Tour will introduce a new competitive structure:

  • World Championship & World Cups – the first tier, representing the highest level of competition in the Tour
  • Challenger – the second tier, created to connect regional events with the elite stages

The Challenger format is designed to bridge the gap between regional races and the elite level. These events give athletes more opportunities to compete at a high level, earn World Skate Marathon Tour ranking points and progress toward the World Championship and World Cups. Challengers also play a key role in developing Future Stars and expanding the sport’s global visibility.

  • March 29th – Shanghai, China | World Cup
  • June 7th – Pamplona, Spain | Challenger
