Kick off for the Inline Hockey Worlds

First day in Rosario (Argentina) for the 2015 edition of the Junior Men and Senior Women Inline Hockey World Championships.



A ceremony entitled to friendship and fair competition opened the Inline Hockey World Championships in Rosario and welcomed more than 500 athletes coming from 18 different countries ( Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic, Colombia, Finland, France, India, Iran, Italy, Latvia, Macao China, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, United States and Venezuela).


The artistic group from the Argentinian National Team delighted the athletes and the people inside the stadium “Salvador Bonilla”, well known for its important history and long tradition, with a suggestive and intense performance.


FIRS President Sabatino Aracu greeted all the people who came at the ceremony and stressed the great work that the city of Rosario and its administration have done in the last month in order to organize the World Championships encuraging the atheletes to fair and respectful competition .
The match between Argentina and France officially opened the Junior Men Worlds and "Le Blue" overwhelmed the home team 8-0. The following match between Finland and USA, starting the Senior Ladies Worlds, was more balanced and finished with a 3-3.
