Not only sport, but a true Skating Festival: this is the real meaning of the the Roller Games! On the early afternoon the Roller Village has been inaugurated in the Youth Olympic Sport Park Gymnasium and the Hengyuanxiang micro video contest has been launched: a kind of "competition" between media, fan and athletes that will attend the WRG in the next two weeks.

The presentation, cheered by a typical Chinese Dragon dance and by the spectacular roller dance performance by Kim Sing Jin and LEN, was introduced by the greetings of FIRS President Sabatino Aracu, followed by a brief speech of Hu WanJin Deputy Major of Nanjing and the General Administrator of Sport FanGuan Sheng.

The delegation continued with the accurate visit to the Village, during which Mr Zhongwei Chen, General Manager of Hengyuanxiang, also made a brief speech.
In the village, located in the Roller Village Square of YO Sport Park Gymnasium, there is a roller park for children, stands with the best skates and roller accessories companies and exhibitors of typical local handicrafts products, a dining area and a meeting space.

But, of course, the WRG are mainly sports competitions at the highest level and, in the meantime, in four venues the athletes were putting their hearth and mind in the fight to write a page in the history.

France and Spain are looking for gold in Junior Men hockey inline. Of course, it wasn't easy to clinch the final. If you want some thrill, the Youth Olympic Sport Gymnasium is the place to be. One semifinal went to the shoot-outs (France – Italy 3-2), the other one to overtime (Spain – Czech Republic 3-2). Two battles, four great teams, full of talent, passion and grit. Inline hockey's future is in good hands. And what about Junior Women? It's Italy versus Chinese Taipei. Set up is done: sunday's time for medals.

Artistic competitions officially opened at the Wutaishan Gymnasium of Nanjing with Junior Compulsory Figures and the first WRG medals have been awarded in the Junior Figure competitions.

The Senior Female and U20 Male Rink Hockey World Championships reached the days of the Finals. Tomorrow, Friday, September 1st, the medals will be assigned: gold, silver and bronze in U20 Male and bronze in Senior Female. Saturday, at 4 PM CST, the Female Senior Gold Final.

The first week of Rink Hockey competitions at the World Roller Games in Nanjing (China) is reaching the end. Today, Longjiang Gymnasium and Tech University Gymnasium hosted the semi finals that defined the pairings of the last two days of finals.
