After the conclusion of his long trip to South America, FIRS President Sabatino Aracu has headed to the city of Miami , confirming – if there was still need – that the 2017 Roller Games are not only an essential initiative and an unique opportunity for Roller Sports, but also a very internationally palatable event to the sports and media world.

A visit to the Brian Piccolo Skate Park has been made together with a delegate of the mayor of the city of Miami, Mr. Regalado, and a representative of the County of Browar. The Park includes a skating rink of 200 mt. with banked curves that needs just some restyling, an interesting road circuit and a skating park to take as reference model.

The facility, its strategic location, the resources available and the favourable climatic conditions are just some of the aspects that makes this area an ideal candidate for the FIRS World Championships 2017 – Roller Games or for any other major international event.

Both administrations have expressed the willingness to organize world-class roller skating events and will initiate a feasibility study so as to submit their nomination for 2017. Will Miami be the venue of the first edition of the FIRS World Championships 2017 - Roller Games.
