World Skate are delighted to unveil our epic, federation-spanning 2026 Calendar Release- covering all the disciplines which we oversee as your International Federation.

As you will discover, it takes in almost every month of the incoming year and traverses five continents of the globe, as we continue to grow together on all fronts.

2026 is a calendar year of special significance for World Skate because it sees not only the Road To LA28 officially begin, but also the debut of our biennial World Skate Games in Paraguay in another first for all concerned.

Over 10,000 athletes, staff and teams from more than 100 countries will gather in Paraguay from 30 September to October 18, 2026,  bringing together 12 sports, one e-sport, and 23 disciplines taking place across venues in Asunción as well as the cities of San Bernardino and Altos.

154 World Champions of their respective disciplines will be crowned in one of the world’s largest alternative sporting extravaganzas!

2026 also marks the return of giant quadrennial events the Asian Games in Aichi, Japan, Mediterranean Games in Taranto, Italy and Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal. Each of these huge events will feature a World Skate-sanctioned skateboarding dimension within. The Mediterranean Games will also host our inline skate marathon community for a Taranto showdown, too!

The World Skateboarding Tour will hold its 2026 World Championships during the World Skate Games in Paraguay, tracing a path from Italy to Japan as Olympic hopefuls stack World Skateboarding Ranking points in their bid to make it to the largest sporting stage on earth.

Evolving out of the old Artistic International Series, our Artistic Word Cup will feature three stops in three different countries this year: Argentina, Germany and the final in Italy.

We are also expanding our event tiers beyond the established World Championship and World Cup strata which you will already be familiar with, in order to collaborate with existing events in a new Challenger tier which offers more opportunities for athletes to garner big-game experience at sanctioned, safe and fair events.

You will notice two Challenger-tier events each already listed for Scootering and the World Skate Marathon Tour, with the possibility of others to follow.

So, all told, we are set for another record-breaking year at World Skate with our worldwide community alongside us all the way!

If you are from Brazil, New Zealand, China, Switzerland, Argentina, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, Paraguay, Senegal or Korea there is a World Skate-sanctioned event coming your way this year- join us and get involved with the world’s most dynamic sports on wheels!
