Your voice at the table

-World Skate Games ASU 2026, Asunción, Paraguay
The Athletes’ Commission is where skaters speak directly into the heart of World Skate. Its members carry the voice of the athlete community into the decisions that shape our sports, from competition to athlete welfare. In 2026 that Commission is being renewed, and the athletes competing in Asunción are the ones who choose who sits at the table.
Here is everything you need to know: what is being elected, who can stand, who can vote, and above all how to make your vote count. The whole election runs electronically, during the World Skate Games.

- Candidatures open: 8 August 2026
- Candidatures close: 20 September 2026, 11:59 pm (Lausanne time)

The Commission is elected by cluster (“Electoral Category”). Each cluster elects one female and one male representative, with Skateboarding electing two of each as an Olympic sport. You take part only in the cluster you compete in.
- Aggressive
- Artistic
- Derby
- Downhill (Inline Downhill, Skateboarding Downhill, Street Luge)
- Freestyle
- Inline Hockey
- Rink Hockey
- Scootering
- Skateboarding, Street, Park and Vert (2 female + 2 male)
- Slalom (Inline Slalom, Skateboarding Slalom)
- Speed (Speed Skating, Skate Cross)
For Skateboarding, the final line-up must include at least one female and one male representative from Street and/or Park.

Only you can put yourself forward. Federations, clubs, coaches, agents and family members cannot submit a candidature on your behalf. To stand, you must:
- be at least 18 years old on 18 October 2026;
- be competing in your discipline’s 2026 World Championship at the World Skate Games ASU 2026, or have competed in that World Championship at least once in the past four years (former athletes who meet this are welcome to run);
- have no final sanction for a doping, ethical or disciplinary offence;
- personally complete and submit the official candidature form, with your biography, your motivation, a good portrait photo and the required declarations, confirming you are available to serve until 2032.
Submit through this official online candidature form.
One candidature per cluster. If you genuinely qualify in more than one, you can stand in each. The deadline is 20 September 2026, 11:59 pm (Lausanne time). After that, World Skate verifies every application and publishes the approved candidates on 30 September.

You can vote in a cluster if you:
- are at least 18 years old on 18 October 2026;
- are registered in Infinity as an athlete for the World Skate Games ASU 2026;
- have completed the official on-site check-in in Asunción;
- are competing in that cluster; and
- have a valid personal email address in your Infinity profile.
You vote only for the representatives of the cluster you compete in. If you compete in more than one and meet every requirement, you can vote in each. Accreditation alone does not give a vote: coaches, officials, delegates, judges and staff do not vote.

1. Complete your on-site check-in in Asunción.
1. From 4 October, 8:00 am (Asunción time), watch for an email at the address saved in your Infinity profile. It contains your secure, personal voting link.
1. Open the link. Your ballot will show only the cluster (or clusters) you are entitled to vote in, and how many representatives to elect for each gender.
1. Cast your vote. You can abstain on any position if you wish.
1. Submit. Once submitted, a ballot is final: it cannot be changed or cast again.
Your link is personal and non-transferable. Do not share or forward it, and do not vote for anyone else: proxy voting is not allowed. The ballot is secret, and you must not photograph, record or reveal how you voted.
The one thing to do right now
The entire vote reaches you by email. Log in to Infinity and check that the personal email address in your profile is correct and one you can actually access during the Games. If it is wrong or out of date, you may not receive your voting link. It takes two minutes, and it is the single most important step you can take.

Candidates can campaign from the moment approved candidates are published until voting closes. Campaigning must be respectful and honest: no gifts or favours in exchange for votes, no pressure or harassment, no false claims about other candidates, no misuse of official channels or personal data.

The staff can help you get access, but they can never see or cast your vote.
