The World Skate Executive Board met today in Asunción, Paraguay, ahead of the opening of the World Skate Games 2026 and the upcoming World Skate Congress, bringing the Federation’s leadership together at a key moment for both the organization and the global skating community.
During the meeting, the Executive Board approved the minutes of its previous session and finalized the sports regulations for Speed Skating, Scootering, Roller Freestyle, Inline Freestyle and Skate Cross.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to address a number of strategic priorities shaping the future of World Skate and its sports. Discussions focused on sustainability, the continued development of adaptive sports, sports justice, and the expansion of education and training opportunities through the World Skate Academy.
