We’re very excited for the The Anoc World Beach Games in Doha, Qatar coming up this October 12th and running through October 16th. Featuring the best in men’s and women’s park skateboarding and being held in a brand new park built by California Skateparks, it should be a uniquely exciting event. With competition just around the corner, we're pleased to share some event details, schedule and images of the park as it nears completion.
Number of Quota Places per Gender: 23 (men/women)
Host Country Places:
The Host Country is guaranteed at least one (1) athlete in both Women’s and Men’s events.
The athlete selected by name shall be the highest ranked athlete from the Host Country listed on the Olympic World Skateboarding Rankings as of 30 July 2020, not already qualified and respecting the maximum quota per NOC per event.
In the event, there is no athlete from the Host Country listed on the Olympic World Skateboarding Rankings, World Skate will, in collaboration with the Host Country NOC, identify the athlete(s) to represent the Host Country.
Athletes will first be selected by name on the Olympic World Skateboarding Rankings as of 30 July 2019, with a maximum quota of two (2) athletes per NOC (only participating NOCs at the World Beach Games will be taken into consideration) until the number of 23 athletes is reached.
In case of a tie, the highest points result from International Skateboarding Open (ISO) - Nanjing (CHN) - 5 Star - 14/19 July 2019, will be used to break the tie.
If it still tied, the next highest points result from Dew Tour - Long Beach (USA) - 5 Star - 10/16 June 2019, will be used to break the tie.
If still tied, the highest ranked athlete in the final results of 2018 World Skate World Championship of Park Skateboarding will be used to break the tie.
