Novara 2016: 30 days to the Worlds

One month left to the biggest artistic event of the year and FIRS President, Sabatino Aracu, met Novara Mayor Alessandro Canelli to check the work in progress.

Yesterday afternoon, Aracu met the Mayor Canelli and the two Council Members, Federico Perugini and Franco Caressa: Attended the meeting also the Regione Piemonte Sport Assessor, Giovanni Maria Ferraris, and the Regione Piemonte Welfare Assessor, Augusto Ferrari. Aracu visited the venue, PalaIGor, where the regular skating parquet will be installed within September 14th to host the training of the Italian National team.

The ticket chase has already started and more than the 30% of the tickets has been sold in Spain, Argentina and Germany: Already sold out for the hotels in Novara and in the hinterlands. 35 National teams are expected to attend the Worlds with more than 1000 athletes.

On the second half of September, Chicca, the Worlds' Mascotte, will be introduced to the supporters and events pre-championships have been planned to get the City involved.
