Hi all, just a quick update on all matters Scootering-related!

Firstly, and as you are all no doubt aware, the forthcoming biennial World Skate Games are being held from October the 2nd-18th in Asunción, Paraguay.

You can find detailed designs for the Fields Of Play in both Park and Street below.

Registration to compete is now open and will remain so until September 10th.

Secondly, the new World Skate Academy course for Scootering Judging is now available!

Featuring some of the most experienced judges from across the sport, the course is designed to provide a clear overview of the principles, processes and standards involved in judging Scootering competitions.

The course is open to riders, judges, coaches, parents, National Federations, and anyone interested in learning more about how competitions are judged.

The seven pre-recorded lessons, featuring contributions from Lewis Crampton, Danny Roberts, Sohvi Puska, Jay Doorty and Pol Roman, are below:

Registration course is now open online until 26 August 2026. Once registered, participants can complete the lessons at their own pace, with supporting PDF and PowerPoint materials available to download.

National Federation Nominations

While the course itself is open to everyone, each National Federation may nominate up to five participants to take the final assessment.

Participants who are nominated by their National Federation and successfully pass the final exam will be added to an international database of judging candidates and may be considered as potential World Skate judges for future officially sanctioned Scootering events.
