The roller freestyle park competition at the World Skate Games took place inside the COP, the Paraguayan Olympic Committee, in a new bowl built for the skateboard, scooter and roller freestyle park events of the World Skate Games 2026.
The bowl was big, and some skaters needed a bit more time than others to adapt to it. Once they did, it gave the public a great show. Skaters could carry a lot of speed, and the runs were full of smooth grinds, big airs, spins and flips.
Brazil and France brought very strong teams again, but this time more skaters from Spain, Italy, Japan, Chile and Argentina made it to the finals, showing how the level of park skating keeps around the world.
The young Brazilian girls had a great day in Junior Women. Joana Caroline Tavares Melo became the new junior park world champion, with Rafaela Reis in second place. Allison Bella Arostegui from Italy took third.
In Junior Men, Élio Sala Naessens from France took first place with a clean and flowing run, full of amplitude and technical tricks. Brazil took the next two spots, with Théo Nascimento in second and Arthur Bandeira in third.
In the Women’s division, Ana Júlia Da Silva from Brazil won the park world title for the second year in a row. Carla Martín from Spain finished second, and Mei Myoga from Japan took third.
The Men’s division was all France. Lenny Jourda became the new park world champion, Léo Fumery finished second, and Julien Cudot, the previous park world champion, took third. A full French podium showed once again how strong France is in park skating.
