Rink Hockey

It has been a day full of emotions in the rink of Playa Brava in Iquique (Chile). The quarterfinals of the ongoing Women's World Championship had been so balanced that in two cases overtime and golden goal were necessary to determine the winner.

That's was happend in Portugal-Germany, an amazing game that seemed to be closed at half time, with Portugal ahead 4-0, but that Germany re-opend performing a great come back in the 2nd half. At the overtime, the golden goal gave the semifinal to Portugal.
The second game that required extra time was Chile-France that had a thrilling end. In front of 1.600 fans, Chile went ahead 2-0 in the first half. France never surrended and scored its first goal just before the half time. In the second half, Chile seemed to be able to control the game, but a lost ball gave France the opportunity to tie the match at only 5" to the end of the time. In the overtime, France won the quarterfinal thanks to an unlucky own goal by the chilean.
The other two quarterfinals were less balanced. Spain won 4-0 against Italy while Argentina won 5-0 with Colombia.
On Friday, Portugal and France will play at 7.00 PM CLT and Spain and Argentina at 22 PM CLT.
