The World Roller games 2019 for the Speed skating ended today with the Marathon. The circuit was developed with the start and the finish in front of the famous “La Pedrera” and a 8km lap at the Avenida Diagonal. 200 were the starters in the ladies event and almost 400 in the men’s event.

Team work makes the dream work! Ask to the girls of the Italian Team who worked all packed together until 500mt to go where, a flying Francesca Lollobrigida wins the World Title with the time of 1:11:28. Silver medal for Colombian Johana Viveros and bronze medal for Sabine Berg, Germany.

The men’s marathon was really fast, characterized by some falls and some attempted breakaways. The French team, with four skaters in the Top 10, dominated the race. Nolan Beddiaf with a powerful sprint wins in front the well known Bart Swings and third place for Felix Rijhnen, Germany.
