The Roller Freestyle Park World Cup 2024 took place in the vibrant city of Shanghai from October 16 to 20, as part of the awaited FISE series in the Chinese City.
Hosted at the stunning West Bund, this four-day event promised thrilling competitions and breathtaking displays of athleticism. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans, leading to the cancellation of the Roller Freestyle and Scootering finals. Nonetheless, the event left an indelible mark on both athletes and spectators alike.
Despite the setbacks, the competition was fierce, showcasing some of the best talent in the sport. In the men's category, the podium was dominated by exceptional performances. French athlete Diako Diabo soared to victory, showcasing his incredible skills and creativity on the course. He was followed closely by Brazil's Danilo Senna, whose dynamic moves captivated the audience. Completing the top three was Japan's legend Yasukoto Takeshi, who brought his unique flair to the competition, securing a well-deserved third place.
On the women's side, the excitement was just as palpable. Mei Myoga from Japan claimed the top spot, dazzling fans with her precision and style. South Korea's Jang Seoa followed closely, earning the silver medal with her impressive routine. Rounding out the podium was China's own Han Qimuge, whose tenacity and skill earned her a proud place in the competition's history.
