Day one of this season’s showdown in Xinhua immediately set the tone for the event, with intense battles in the 200-metres Dual Time Trial and the 5000-metres Points Race.
In the men’s 200-metres Dual TT, Vincenzo Maiorca (ATP Roller) posted the fastest time, ahead of Woonggyu Choi (Sugatti) and Steven Villegas Ceballos (NL-Racing | Power Skate).

In the women’s category, Kollin Castro (NL-Racing) claimed a clear victory, followed by Sara Muñoz Moreno (PAEN Antioquia) and Larissa Gaiser (Swings World Team).
In the 5000-metres Points Race, NL-Racing dominated the men’s competition, with Francisco Jose Peula taking the top spot, Chia Wie Tsai in second, and Juncheol Bae (Sugatti) finishing third.

Among the women, Colombian skater Gabriela Rueda (NL-Racing) began her personal campaign in commanding fashion, finishing ahead of Daniela Bustamante (MANAO | FR Skates World Team) and Angelina Otto (Swings World Team).

The final day confirmed- and even elevated- the technical level of the event, crowning the champions of the last stage.
In the men’s 500-metres + D, Vincenzo Maiorca (ATP Roller) claimed his second victory, with Jhoan Guzman (Junk World Team) in second place and Juan Yepes (Team Cityrun) in third.

The women’s race once again saw Kollin Castro (NL-Racing) as the protagonist, finishing first ahead of Sara Muñoz Moreno (PAEN Antioquia) and Gabriela Rueda (NL-Racing), who added another podium to her remarkable weekend.

In the gruelling 10,000-metres Elimination, Francisco Jose Peula (NL-Racing World Team) repeated his victory from the previous day in the men’s competition, with Chia Wie Tsai in second and Seonggeon Lee (Yeosu-City) in third.
In the women’s division Gabriela Rueda (NL-Racing) delivered an absolute display of dominance, finishing first ahead of her teammate Chiaojung Lee, while Larissa Gaiser (Swings World Team) took third place.

If there is one name that shone above all in this final, it is undoubtedly Gabriela Rueda, the true star of the Xinhua stage.

The Colombian World Champion delivered an impressive demonstration of strength: first place in the 5000-metres Points Race, first in the 10,000-metres Elimination, and third in the 500-metres+ D sprint.

A total domination in the long-distance events, combined with the ability to remain competitive in the sprints, confirming her status as a complete, charismatic athlete.

The combined prize purse for the event sat at $40,000 USD.

Congratulations to not only our winners but all participants is a superb showcase for this ever-more international discipline!
