Portugal, Italy, France and Spain are the four national teams that will play the smifinals of the 7th U20 World Championship in Vilanova. On Friday September 25, Portugal and Italy will play at 7.30 PM and Spain and France will play at 9.00 PM. Both matches, as all the others of the Championship, will be broadcasted live by FIRS TV (firs.rollersport.org).
The quarter-finals played today held a surprise. While Spain, Portugal and Italy clearly won their matches respectively against, Argentina was eliminated by France. The french team won by 1-0 a very dramatic match, thanks to a goal scored in the 1st half and despite the direct shot wasted 3 minutes before the end of the match. France has to thank Argentina for doing the same in the last minute of the match.
In the knockout stage for the 9th/16th places, a surprising India got its first victory against Egypt and from tomorrow will play for the 9th/12th place with Germany, Andorra and England which won their quarter-finals.
